Asset-Centric Data Management

At its core, LubePM provides an asset-centric data manager where each machine is defined with critical lubrication and reliability attributes, including runtime, relubrication volumes and intervals, bearing details, RPMs, current lubricant, and proposed lubricants subject to a formal approval workflow. Similar approval workflows govern hardware modifications, such as breathers, grease accessories, BS&W devices, oil level indicators, and quick connects.

Procedures & Task Management

Each asset is associated with a structured set of procedures, including:

  • Routine inspections (e.g., vibration, leaks, oil level, oil condition)
  • Lubricant replenishment
  • Lubricant sampling
  • Modification-driven procedures (from approved lubricant or hardware changes)
  • On-condition tasks (e.g., oil top-ups)

Procedures define execution characteristics such as running state, estimated duration, scheduling type (routine, on-condition, modification), and interval. A task represents a scheduled instance of a procedure, while the procedure itself serves as the reusable blueprint.

Routes & Field Execution

Tasks are organized into lubrication routes, which may be:

  • Recurring route plans (weekly, monthly, yearly), or
  • One-off routes

Scheduled routes are assigned to users and downloaded to a mobile application for field execution. Once downloaded, a route is considered in progress. Technicians capture inspection results, task completion or skip status (with standardized skip reasons such as “inaccessible” or “out of scope”), notes, and photos. Upon upload, results are stored centrally, and—when applicable—the next route instance is automatically generated based on the route plan interval.

Reliability Intelligence & Reporting

Inspection outcomes may identify machine issues (e.g., breather replacement, abnormal vibration or temperature, low oil levels, leaks), providing actionable reliability intelligence.

LubePM includes a compliance and reporting layer that aggregates execution data across routes, users, assets, and locations. This includes total route execution time, task completion metrics, identified issues, and advanced filtering by user, date range, plant location, and related parameters.
